Haq Water for Life is a registered UK-based organisation regulated by the Charity Commission of England and Wales. Our primary focus is providing charitable assistance, primarily in Africa, with the flexibility to extend aid globally during times of crisis.
Our goal is to create a brighter future for impoverished communities in Africa by offering essential provisions they cannot afford. We are dedicated to eliminating poverty and empowering individuals to achieve self-sufficiency, thereby enabling them to support themselves and their communities.
How it all began
In 2006, our chairman and his family witnessed the extreme levels of poverty, lack of education for children and the daily suffering for families to obtain the basic necessities to survive.
They were given the opportunity to support a community by establishing a school/mosque. They personally raised the funds and built Masjid & Markaz Jabbar in Mariakani, Kenya. Following the success and seeing the fruits of their hardwork, our chairman was determined to help others in need. With this passion and drive, Haq Water for Life was formed in 2010 as a limited company.
Initially we started this charitable work as a small limited company to raise awareness and support the people of Africa. We realised to be able to achieve a much larger public benefit, we needed to register with the Charity Commission of England and Wales, this registration took place in 2021.
Where we are today
The need for charitable aid is rising every day in Africa and reaching critical levels. Haq Water for Life hopes to reach out to all those in need and show we care for them.
