Millions of people living in Africa do not have access to clean and safe water. Their only option is to travel several kilometres on foot to obtain dirty water infected with diseases. This has a severe impact on their health and well-being and can cause serious illnesses and can lead to death.
Our Work In Providing Clean and Safe Water
We recognise this is a fundamental need for everyone and continually look to support water projects. Since 2015, we have constructed over 30 borehole wells in remote parts of Kenya where clean and safe water was inaccessible, benefitting approximately 25,000 people. We educate people in promoting good health and hygiene practices to prevent the spread of diseases. Amongst the community, we select leaders who will take an active role in overseeing practices being followed.
Our Appeal
We require your support in helping us construct more boreholes in parts of Kenya due to severe water scarcity. Each borehole will benefit around 700 people in the community and be available free of charge. Access to clean and safe water and good hygiene practices will reduce the risk of diseases. It also reduces the amount of time and effort it takes to obtain water from further distances, enabling people to focus on other areas of their lives. Providing clean and safe water saves lives, please help us in alleviating this pain and suffering from the people of Africa.
